About Me:
I am all about justice and fairness and honesty in my life and as a result, I probably complain a lot - especially to my closer friends!!! I have three beautiful daughters who constantly delight me as I watch them dance to their individual tunes, which then leads me to ( more often then not) re-evaluate my own dance steps!
I thrive on eccentricity; I yearn to learn more and more and more to better myself in this lifetime; I gossip too much (but only to make the world a better place, according to me!); I change my mind constantly about how important money really is in this existence and I love to be liked.
How I am Living My Life Fully
By constantly questioning the meaning of life! - Especially my own! Rather than compete with my innate desire to "know" everything, I now embrace this "gift" and feed it, with pleasure instead of giving myself a hard time for having such an inquisitive mind. Following a path that has lead me from meditation to Tibet, from heartbreak to divine joy, from self-consciousness to self-awareness, from limiting beliefs to limitless possibilities...I am now living my life fully, as I now take responsibility for every darned choice I make! (scary stuff).
How I Share My Life And My Joys Through My work And /Or Hobbies
My children! The chances that abound, from never having to grow up thanks to them is how I share my life and joys. To be part of their journeys, to belong to a school community where I can play a part that contributes to their educational and emotional balance, to have a home business that I am in alignment with and enables me to work my own hours so I can choose how much of my time I'd like to be there for my girls...Wow! Just thinking about it right here, right NOW makes me feel incredibly thankful and content.
Wisdom I Have Learnt Through My Life
Ummm, well...I guess it's always changing. A year ago I would have said "Life's chaos without practicing meditation". 6 months ago I would have said "You always get what you ask for". 3 days ago I would have said "There's no such thing as freedom of choice" ...but, today I say "Life is a highway...I'm gonna ride it all night long" - remember that song???
How I Created My Day Today
After April Fools Day yesterday, I began my morning with a deeper meditation than usual today (one of my girls MUST have stuck a sticky label on my back saying "Fool"!!! Sitting in relative silence, remembering my affirmations and finishing off with all that I am thankful for in my life right now, knowing that this start to the day can only create more of the same.
What Oneness and Connectedness Means To me
Oneness and Connectedness to me, means that once we reclaim responsibility for our every thought and every action without judgement of them being "good" or "bad", we release that which gives us the feeling of separation and then we are free to realise that there is no end nor beginning to anyone or anything in this whole Creation.
How did you connect with us?
Through Annie! She sold the idea to me, so I was really, really, really curious! -
Thank goodness for that Cat!

When does the dream become the reality?

Today, I am pondering this question: When does our dream become our reality? And, I guess, does it ever? Or is it already? I figure I will be pondering this one for some time.
You see, last night was the final episode of "Life On Mars". If anyone has been following Sam's dilemna as I have, you may have come up with the same question (or not). Still, a couple of things came clearly through for me last night as I watched Sam struggle to accept whether he truly was in a coma or whether the "dream"… Continue

Is the written word the true window to the soul???

I had to start writing about this today, after all this site is very much based around the written word, as are many other sites and much in our world. Anyways, the questsion popped up in my mind and thought I'd debate it between me, myself and I!!!
So, mostly my answer would have to be "yes"! The written word is the true window to the soul, because it is all our inner stuff pouring out - whether it be dark or light, fantasy or fiction or whatever! It's a release from our very inner self. Depend… Continue

Thankyou, Sherrie. Beautiful words of wisdom from a beautiful lady. I haven't been on site for a while, been very busy deciding how best to handle my confrontational mood swing of late! That "C" word, really baffles me...I have always tried to avoid / run away from confrontation, but alas, it has honed right on in at the moment and so I welcome each day with a new "tactic" on just how to experience confrontation in a way that works for me. And whilst I have always disliked confrontations, there is a little voice that is saying "You go girl!" - an almost childish pleasure is creeping to the surface from me voicing how I really feel...Must remind myself, though, that there is a balance...lol...

When I was little,
I used to believe in the concept of one best friend,
and then I started to become a woman.

And then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up,
God would show you the best in many friends.

One friend is needed when you're going through things with your man.
Another friend is needed when you're going through things with your mom.

Another will sit beside you in the bleachers as you delight in your children and their activities.
Another when you want to shop, share, heal, hurt, joke, or just be.

One friend will say, "Let's cry together,"
another, "Let's fight together,"
another, "Let's walk away together."

One friend will meet your spiritual need,
another your shoe fetish,
another your love for movies,
another will be with you in your season of confusion,
another will be your clarifier,
another the wind beneath your wings.

But whatever their assignment in your life,
on whatever the occasion,
on whatever the day,
or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back,
or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself ...
those are your best friends.

It may all be wrapped up in one woman,
but for many, it's wrapped up in several..
one from 7th grade,
one from high school,
several from the college years,
a couple from old jobs,
on some days your mother,
on some days your neighbor,
on others, your sisters,
and on some days, your daughters.

So whether they've been your friend for 20 minutes or 20 years,
AND ONLY IF YOU'D LIKE TO,
pass this on to the women that God has placed in your life
to make a difference.

May your troubles be less, your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness come through your door.

This is an excerpt from the email I was sent:

I have just received an email with a web link…. Here’s a quote from the person who sent it out…..

“A neuro-scientist named Jill Taylor gave a short talk at TED that was probably the most profound depiction of the "deep right brain experience" that I'd ever heard. After her talk, the vibe of the entire conference changed - people were more open, deeper, clearer. Truly remarkable. This video just went on-line today. There is an essential message here for all humanity on acknowledging just how closely connected and related we all are”.

Will this make a difference? Otherwise, you obviously know what's within and don't need to know anymore, hey?!!!

Gee Sherrie...thankyou! Your words are so full of, dare I say it, compassion and pure and honest love...what a light you are. What a blessing to have connected with you in this life time.
Speaking of right brain / left brain (were we?) if you haven't seen this already, have a look. It brought me to tears and at the same time filled me up again with hope and love and peace and so, so, so much more...http://www.microcle sia.com/? p=320
and, yes, I have to say that there was that right side of me saying "Me! Me! Pick me!!!" Why haven't we got that now? - That easy choice! Why does it feel so hard sometimes to step to the right side and live what we know and so want? Hmmm...
Kids are on holidays as of tomorrow, so I am sooooooooo happy! YAY! Hope you had a good one, too,

Yes it makes a lot of sense to me..... :))

You know being an Aquarian you respresent the humanitarian and the keeper of the true meaning of brotherhood... You know what you know! and are at times ahead of youTIME!!!
They say Aquarians are a cross between Einstein and Mickey Mouse.... What a wonderful blend!!!

Sounds like you are preparing for the journey ahead for as the AGE of Aquarius enters more and more...you will be living out loud to show all that unity and brotherhood means and aspire others to live from within themselves.... Enjoy the flight you are creating and on as you discover YOU can only BE what YOU truely ARE.....

I am sure that sensitivity IS your greatest gift... I can feel it in my waters.... :))) in it highest expression I beleive it is called compassion......

Your expression of your thoughts and feelings on my page has made my heart sing out louder for here we are sharing what lives deep within us..... here and now

Loving your connection
